Just don't let the red bar get to the top or it will explode.
Click on the buildings to make them produce faster. The well seems to have a very large clicking area, so you will need to be careful when you cage bears. They may do it but I never had a problem with it. Caged bears don't seem to destroy buildings as much as in other versions. Plant your grass near the bottom of the screen as the bears drop at the top. It is amazing what having a fully upgraded cage can do for your times. This is especially true earlier in the game when you don't have all of your upgrades. Playing hint-if you are having a problem getting gold on a certain level, go on ahead and come back. The good thing about this game is that you can always replay levels to get more stars to buy upgrades. If you are trying to decide between upgrades go for the cage first. The most important upgrade you have is to the cage. There include the cage, galley (boat), chariot (cart), well, dog, cat, warehouse. You will have more than enough stars to buy optional upgrades. Before each level you will usually have to go to the store to upgrade some required building. Don't forget that your sawmill and granite factory require animals to power them. If you spend too much time getting the upgrade supplies, you will just run out of time. Because of building supply requirements, you will find that it is best to just get enough to get to a middle level and then start production. Cake bakery/sewing factory/cheese factory start with requiring 3 cement/logs/granite to upgrade to level 2 up to 6 for Level 5. Cookie bakery/weaving factory/curd factory start with requiring 2 cement/logs/granite to upgrade to Level 2 up to 5 for level 5. Egg powder plant/spinnery/separator require 1 cement/log/granite to upgrade to Level 2 (plus money)Įach subsequent upgrade requires an additional building supply up to 4 of each. Also to add a new twist, you are able to sell your dogs and cats. Again this requirement adds another layer of interest and challenge to the game. Granite requires cakes, milk, stones, and one cow per granite made.
Logs require cookies, milk, and one sheep per log made. Cement requires eggs, sand, and water from the well, so you can't make any if your well is empty. Another interesting twist is the additional requirements for these building supplies. This adds a different dimension because you can't just spend money to upgrade quickly but will actually have to plan ahead. You will be able to build Level 1 buildings but then you will also need cement to upgrade cake factories, logs to upgrade costume factories, and granite to upgrade cheese factories. This adds a nice twist to the game because you will also need the new items to upgrade your cake, costume, and cheese production facilities. You will still make cakes, costumes, and cheese and dress bears, but you will also make cement, logs, granite, sailcloth, and ships.
