This tool comes preloaded with "recube light," designed to allow the user to set the filament cartridge to any percentage when connected to a PC via a very easy to use serial interface. To see this device in action or for more information, search "recube wand" on youtube and google. This will reset any chip with any percentage (even 0%!) back to 100%, or any other percentage you desire (read below). When the chip says there is no more filament, no more is printing possible until you replace the cartridge. These printers require a cartridge with a filament management chip (EEPROM).
